The Green Skills Library is a CSR organisation that runs a predominantly an online platform for best-in-class practical, sustainable skills. The organisation aim to provide project ideas, guidance and access to resources to help teach individuals how to improve their immediate environment using what already exists – and to fundamentally change the disposable culture in our communities. Their belief is that every little green task brings us one step closer to the fundamental behavioural change needed to protect our planet.
The Green Skills Library also have an active hub and advice centre based in the Nicholsons Shopping centre Maidenhead. They had a requirement to replace the old and expensive lighting units already within their retail unit for modern LED alternatives that would save costs and improve the environment for visitors.
